November 9, 2008     “8 Patterns in Missional Faithfulness”     Acts 6:1-7(NRSV)

1. Both our Outreach and our Life Together as a church are a Witness to Jesus Christ!

2. PATTER 1: MISSOINAL VOCATION– discovering the missional vocation of the Community Together.

3. PATTERN 2: BIBLICAL FORMATION AND DISCIPLESHIP– learning what it means to be Disciples of Jesus.

4. PATTERN 3: TAKING RISKS AS A CONTRAST COMMUNITY– learning to deal with both Internal and External Resistance to the gospel.

5. PATTERN 4: PRACTICES THAT DEMONSTRATE GOD’S INTENT FOR THE WORLD– the church’s life is a Demonstration of what God Intends for the whole World.

6. PATTERN 5: WORSHIP AS PUBLIC WITNESS– public Witness flowing out of Worship.

7. PATTERN 6: DEPENDENCE ON THE HOLY SPIRIT– Dependence on the Holy Spirit, Shown in the practice of Corporate Prayer.

8. PATTERN 7: JOUNREYING TOWARD THE REGION OF GOD– instrument, agent, and sign of God breaking into the World!

9. PATTERN 8: MISSIONAL AUTHORITY– leaders cultivate Discernment and Practices that embody the vocation.

10. We are not Alone in this process, God’s Hand is upon us and God won’t give us a task we can’t Handle!
